This isn’t just a newsletter. It’s a spotlight on what happens when discipline meets vision, when a community stops talking and starts doing. This month, we’ve seen walls break. Comfort zones tested. We’ve watched Tribers step into the arena — not just to trade, but to transform.
From bold breakthroughs to powerful reminders of why we started, the energy in here is real. It’s raw. And it’s only getting louder. So buckle up. You’re about to meet the voices, the stories, the wild moments, and the wins that shaped the Tribe this month.

Inside the Trading Journey of Dedication
In the fast-paced world of online trading, it’s easy to get distracted by the loudest voices, the ones shouting about overnight success, risky flips, and big wins. But real traders know that true success is rarely loud. It’s consistent. It’s disciplined. And often, it looks a lot like Jaco Vermeulen.
A member of MoneyTribe21 since January 22, 2025, Jaco didn’t join the community hoping for shortcuts or secret strategies. He joined because, in his words, “If I could get just one profitable idea a month from the Tribe, it would pay for itself.”
What he found was far more than that…
From Rugby Fields to Funded Accounts, Jaco’s story doesn’t start in front of a screen. It starts on a farm, where he grew up with little and learned early that if you want something, you work for it. He became a professional athlete, playing junior rugby for the Lions, and eventually secured a senior contract.
But life had other plans. Two torn ACLs in the same year ended his career before it fully took off. While others were playing PlayStation, Jaco was hustling, coaching golf to private school kids, studying full-time, and training professionally, all to make ends meet.
“Rugby paid for my studies. I was working, training, studying — doing everything I could to build a future. Eventually, I realised rugby wouldn’t last forever.”
He shifted gears. Finished his BCom Honours in Logistics Management. Took a pay cut to get into the workforce. Played club rugby on the side for extra income. And when his first child was born — he walked away from rugby completely to focus on being present and building long-term stability.
Since then, he’s worked his way up — launching a local office for a global logistics company (where he still works today), while running his own consulting business on the side. Trading didn’t replace his responsibilities. It added to his vision.
“I firmly believe that with discipline, patience, and a commitment to sticking to the rules, trading can be a path where I make a real impact.”
And he’s proving it one trade, one lesson, one structured decision at a time. Since joining the Tribe, Jaco has withdrawn over $23,000 from funded accounts — not from oversized trades or lucky breaks, but from clean setups, measured risk, and an unshakable process.
These numbers are the result of structure. Of knowing when to enter, when to sit out, and when to walk away from the chart. As Jaco puts it, “It’s all about being consistent — not a cowboy.”
Despite his experience, Jaco didn’t skip steps. He began with the Forex Basics course, worked his way into the Advanced program, and applied each layer of insight with discipline. RSI and moving averages, tools he’d previously ignored now became new sources of confluence. The TradingView chart breakdowns helped him see gold from a fresh perspective.
But it was the 8 Pillars program that pulled everything into alignment.
“I was already in a focused season — training daily, doing Dry January, cutting out distractions. The Pillars gave me structure in areas I didn’t even realise I needed it. Especially around money and mindset.”
He’s nearly completed the full program — not because he rushed it, but because he implemented it with intent. Layer by layer, habit by habit, so it sticks.
“It didn’t feel like coincidence. It felt like destiny.”
Learning Never Stops, there isn’t a day Jaco skips the daily gold market analysis. Even when he’s not trading, he’s watching, learning, refining.
“Sometimes it’s just one line, one comment, that flips the way I see a setup. That’s what keeps me steady.”
